Product Information: We strive to ensure that all details, descriptions, and prices of products appearing on the Website are accurate. However, errors may occur. We do not guarantee that product descriptions or other content is error-free. If we discover an error in the price or description of any goods which you have ordered, we will inform you of this as soon as possible.
Pricing: Prices for our products are subject to change without notice. All prices are listed in South African Rand (ZAR) and are inclusive of VAT where applicable. Shipping costs are additional unless otherwise specified (see our Shipping Policy).
Order Placement: Placing an item in your cart does not reserve it. An order is confirmed only after payment is successfully processed.
Order Acceptance: We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including limitations on quantities available for purchase, inaccuracies6 or errors in product or pricing information, or problems identified by our credit and fraud avoidance department. If your order is cancelled after your payment has been processed, we will issue a refund for the amount paid.
Payment: Payment must be made in full at the time of placing the order via the payment methods offered on the Website.
Out-of-Stock Items: If an item you ordered becomes unavailable after your order is placed, we will notify you. You will have the option to receive a full refund for the unavailable item or wait for the item to be restocked (if possible).
5. Order Cancellations
Before Payment: You may cancel your order at no charge any time before payment is made.
After Payment: If you wish to cancel your order after payment has been processed but before the order has shipped, a cancellation fee of R25 may apply to cover administrative and transaction costs. Alternatively, you may opt for store credit for the full value of the cancelled order. Once an order has shipped, it cannot be cancelled but may be returned according to our Returns Policy.
6. Returns Policy
We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. If you are not, you may request a return within 21 days of the delivery date for an exchange or store credit, subject to the following conditions:
Condition: Items must be returned in their original, unused condition, complete with all original packaging, tags, and accessories.
Initiation: To initiate a return, please contact us at conrad@gadgetandpet.co.za with your order number and a clear reason for the return. We will provide instructions on how to proceed.
Return Shipping Costs: The cost of return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer, unless the return is due to a defective product or an error made by Gadget And Pet. We recommend using a trackable shipping service.
Non-Returnable Items: For hygiene or safety reasons, certain items may be non-returnable (e.g., perishable items, specific personal care items if applicable – please clarify if needed). This will be indicated on the product page where applicable.
Processing: Once we receive and inspect the returned item(s), we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your return. Approved returns will be processed for an exchange or store credit within a reasonable timeframe.
7. Damaged Goods
If your order arrives damaged, please report the damage to us at conrad@gadgetandpet.co.za within 14 days of delivery. Include your order number and photographic evidence of the damage (including packaging). We will arrange for a replacement or issue store credit at our discretion upon verification of the damage.
